About Us

I thought of starting this project one day while I was trying to purchase quality art on the Internet.  At the time, I was very leery about giving my money to some company I hadn't heard of... would they send me my picture or not?!?  I wondered, do other people have the same concerns?  

I started looking into Internet art companies, to weed out "the good, the bad, and the ugly".  Thus Cat Picture Gallery was born.  I used that research to list only quality, reputable companies on my web site.

I've always loved animals.  I volunteered at the S.P.C.A. for many years, and adopted many of their loving cats and dogs.  I've also volunteered for a wild bird rehabilitation center named B.E.A.K.S.  I've looked after the birds, prepared their newsletter, as well as written their computer system.

Anyway, my love of animals, along with my computer knowledge has led me down this road.  For years I've been looking for a way to combine the two.

The most rewarding aspect of this venture has been meeting all of you!  I've heard so many hilarious cat stories, and shared a couple of my own.
