Cat Eating Too Fast.
Cat Eating Too Fast:
A cat eating too fast can be caused when a cat's eating environment is uncomfortable. Perhaps it's too noisy, too busy, unclean, or something scares them. Try moving their food dish to a clean quiet area where the cat will not be disturbed, and can eat alone. Also ensure the food dish is not near the kitty litter box.
If you have multiple pets, your cat may be eating quickly to prevent the other pets from eating their food. Try feeding the animals in separate rooms.
Another idea for solving this cat eating behavior problem is to put a few large, clean, smooth balls into the food dish. This will make the cat slow down in order to eat around the balls. Ensure the balls are large enough that the cat will not accidentally eat the ball.
Sometimes when a cat eats too fast, it can lead to cat vomiting shortly after eating. It's a good idea to feed your cat smaller more frequent meals so even if they eat quick, there will be less chance of vomiting afterward.
